Meet Rosi Steinbach

Today’s artist in residence is Rosi Steinbach (Germany) AIR 2017. “The multitude of artefacts in Rome are a strong inspiration to me. Looking at artpieces of the past reflects on the way I see myself as an artist. I am interested in the validity of this art throughout time. I believe there is a fascination with originality and perfection in this craft that is still affecting us today. I tried to give to my ceramic objects something of this power. But they will not be copies of things I see in Rome.
